Penjelasan

a) It was such good coffee that I had another cup.

Such ... that encloses a modified noun :

Such + adjectives + noun + that

b) The coffee is so hot that I can’t drink.

c) I’m so hungry that I could eat a horse.

d) She speaks so fast that I can’t understand her.

e) He walked so quickly that I couldn’t keep up with him.

So ... that encloses an adjective or adverb :

adjectives

So + or + that

adverb

f) He has so few friends that he is always lonely.

g) He had so little trouble with the test that he left twenty minutes early.

So ... that is used with many, few, much and little.



Adverb Clause

a) We went swimming because it was hot.

Punctuation: a comma is used if the adverb clause comes first.

Preposition

b) We went swimming because of the hot weather.

Punctuation: a comma is usually used if the prepositional phrase precedes the subject and verb of the independent clause.
